Membership Committee UpdateOctober 5, 2009 At the May Board Meeting, it was agreed that the society needed an active membership committee. This past September, a committee consisting of several VOS members from around the state was convened to discuss how to enhance membership benefits and increase VOS membership enrollment. The committee is analyzing several initiatives including:

VOS offers a discount on membership dues for our members currently active in the military. To be eligible for this discount, a member must be an individual in the US Armed Forces engaged in the practice of orthopaedic surgery within any of the military medical installations in Virginia.
